Global Learning at the University of Arizona

CIELO integrates travel, education, and service learning to empower students with knowledge and skill sets to utilize as they continue their careers at Arizona and beyond. CIELO provides a valuable holistic student experience in the form of short-term trips both domestic and abroad. Themes of interdisciplinary learning through civic engagement and cultural immersion are explored through CIELO programming.

Study abroad is when a student pursues their academic goals in a foreign country. Studying overseas helps students explore cultures, life experiences, and worldviews different from their own that foster cross-cultural learning.
