The Regents' Cup

About the Regents' Cup

The Regents' Cup is an annual tri-university (Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University, University of Arizona) competition where students represent their university in Oxford-style debate and storytelling competitions. Students who are chosen to represent their university can earn internship or course credit for their participation. Students can also earn generous scholarships for their participation, including to the first, second, and third place winners.

Student Eligibility Requirements
  1. Full-time student (first-year through graduate students) at one of Arizona's public universities at the time of the Regents' Cup
  2. 2.5 or higher cumulative GPA
  3. Application and essay submitted to Arizona Board of Regents' website
  4. Meet university expectations for preparation and participation
  5. Participate in Regents' Cup on March 22-23, 2024 at Arizona State University
Awards and Prizes

Students who participate in the Regents' Cup are eligible to receive scholarships. These funds can be used at the student's discretion to support and advance their education.

First Place: $15,000 scholarship

Second Place: $12,000 scholarship

Third Place: $5,000 scholarship

All other team members: $500 scholarship
